MGTEK dopisp displays the Database Cleanup dialog when it detects that the iPod database was not closed properly during the last synchronization process.
We strongly recommend that you perform the cleanup procedure when this condition arises to ensure that your iPod database remains in a consistent state.
Why is this dialog displayed?
This problem may occur under the following conditions:
- You disconnected the iPod before the sync process finished, or you did not eject the iPod properly.
- You used poorly written third-party software that corrupted the iPod music database.
- Windows Media Player crashed during the sync process.
What can I do to fix this problem?
If the sync database cleanup dialog is displayed, try the following:
- Close Windows Media Player and unplug the iPod from your computer. Then plug the iPod back in and start Windows Media Player.
