MGTEK dopisp displays the Sync Error dialog when it fails to sync to or from the iPod.
Why is this dialog displayed?
This problem may occur under the following conditions:
- You resumed your computer from Standby while your iPod touch or iPhone is plugged in (this is a problem with the Apple driver software).
- You disconnected the iPod before the sync process is finished, or you did not eject the iPod properly.
- You used poorly written third-party software that corrupted the iPod music database.
- Windows Media Player crashed during the sync process.
What can I do to fix this problem?
If the sync error dialog is displayed, try the following:
- Close Windows Media Player and unplug the iPod from your computer. Then plug the iPod back in and start Windows Media Player.
What can I do to avoid this problem in the future?
- Make sure that you safely eject your iPod before you disconnect the iPod from your computer. See Disconnect your iPod for more information.
