If MGTEK dopisp encounters an error while syncing your iPod, you will get an error message dialog with a detailed description of the problem. Usually, this error message indicates a hardware related problem or a corrupted iPod database.

When this dialog appears, check the troubleshooting tips below and choose between the following options:

Retry
Retries the operation. If this was an intermittent problem, retrying the operation may solve the problem. If the problem does not disappear, click Ignore.
Ignore
Ignores any error that occurs during the operation. MGTEK dopisp will try to recover from the problem and continues silently.
Abort
Cancels the operation. Use this option if both Retry or Ignore fails.

The iPod file system is corrupted

If the iPod has been disconnected while Windows Media Player was writing to the device, the file system may become corrupted, and you will have to re-format the iPod. To learn how to format your iPod, see the topic Format your iPod.

Check your iPod connection

Often, a bad or marginal cable connection to your iPod can cause problems when MGTEK dopisp connects to the iPod. Especially, if you experience intermittent problems, make sure that you do not have a hardware related problem, by checking the following:
