Does my iPod work with MGTEK dopisp?

Which iPod models are supported by MGTEK dopisp?

MGTEK dopisp supports most Apple iPods, in all sizes, and most firmware versions:

• iPod classic
• iPod nano 1st generation
• iPod nano 2nd generation
• iPod nano 3rd generation
• iPod nano 4th generation
• iPod shuffle 1st generation
• iPod shuffle 2nd generation
• iPod shuffle 3rd generation (latest model)
• iPod mini, all generations
• iPod photo, all generations
• iPod video, all generations
• iPod touch 1st generation, up to firmware OS 2.2.1 (*)
• iPod touch 2nd generation, up to firmware OS 2.2.1 (*)
• iPhone, up to firmware OS 2.2.1 (*)
• iPhone 3G, up to firmware OS 2.2.1 (*)

 (*) Note: MGTEK dopisp does not support the new firmware OS 3.0 (or higher) for the iPod touch and iPhone.

MGTEK dopisp does not support the following models:

• iPod nano 5th generation (latest model)
• iPod touch 3rd generation (latest model), with firmware OS 3.0
• iPhone 3G S, with firmware OS 3.0

Will MGTEK make dopisp compatible with unsupported iPods/iPhones?

We are working diligently on making dopisp compatible with the new iPods and iPhones. However, we cannot provide a working solution yet or a release date for a new version of dopisp. The internal workings of the new iPods have changed significantly, and this requires a great amount of reverse engineering.
