If you wish to delete all songs and videos from your iPod, you can simply format the device. This formatting procedure will not delete other media such as pictures or contacts.

Note   If you have trouble getting MGTEK dopisp to work, just formatting the device may not help. If you are experiencing problems and a format does not help, Restore your iPod.

Format the iPod

1. Start Windows Media Player, connect your iPod to your computer, and then click the Sync tab.
2. From the tree-view to the left, right-click the iPod icon and click Format.
3. Click OK to permanently delete all music on your iPod.
