A playlist is a list of songs that you create in order to have a set of songs play in the order you choose.

If your iPod model supports playlists, MGTEK dopisp will create a playlist entry on your iPod when you sync a playlist from Windows Media Player. MGTEK dopisp can sync normal playlists and auto playlists you create in Windows Media Player.

Unlike iTunes, you cannot use Windows Media Player to modify a playlist that is already on the iPod. Instead, modify a playlist in the Windows Media Player music library, and then sync that playlist to your iPod.

Note   To learn how to create playlists, please see the documentation of Windows Media Player. In Windows Media Player, press F1 to open the Windows Media Player help file.

Sync playlists to your iPod

  1. In Windows Media Player, create a new playlist.
  2. Connect your iPod to your computer, and then click the Sync tab to open the Sync pane.
  3. From the music library, drag one or more playlists to the Sync List pane to add them to the list of items to sync.
  4. Click Start Sync to sync the contents of the sync list to the player.

Sync playlists to your iPod automatically

You can also have Windows Media Player sync your playlists automatically. To do that, see the topic Sync Music automatically.
